We begun with this line in 2007. We try to find out if nuclear methods like PAC and PAS are able to give new knowlegde in problems concerning to Biology and Medicine.

We reviewed all the work done in Biology with PAC and PAS [3,4]

Since the beginning PAC was applied to characterize biological macromolecules and we start with this kind of applications. Since 1968 PAC spectrometers have been developed greatly and is time to observe again many sistems [Examples].

Now, we are interested in the following experiments:

  1. Studies of metalloproteins doped with 111mCd (revisiting old experiments and making new ones)
  2. Studies of metalloproteins doped with 111In.
  3. Studies of platelets doped with 111In.
  4. Studies of radiopharmaceuticals doped with 111In.
  5. Studies of Magnetic Targeted Carriers doped with 111In.
  6. Studies of metal transport in isolated cell systems using 181Hf.
